Alexis Tucker gives Evansville a battle-tested arm with real strikeout pop
In the 2026 season, Alexis Tucker has been one of Evansville’s main pitching pieces, working both starts and relief and even stringing together an 11 1/3-inning scoreless stretch in late April. She’s the kind of pitcher who can miss bats, as shown by a season-high 7 strikeouts against Indiana State, and she’s also carried a heavy workload with the Purple Aces staff. The fit is obvious: competitive, durable, and experienced enough to handle pressure innings—exactly the sort of arm a team wants when the game starts getting spicy.
