Cameron Schmitz brings production and havoc from the linebacker spot
Schmitz stands out as a high-impact, all-around defender for Portland State, with listed senior-year production of 117 tackles, 5 sacks, 2 fumble recoveries, and 2 blocked field goals, plus 39 catches for 687 yards on offense in his final prep season, showing rare versatility and game-changing instincts.[1][5] He looks like a fit for teams that want an aggressive, tone-setting linebacker who can diagnose quickly, finish plays, and contribute in multiple phases rather than just pile up tackle counts.[1][5]
