South Alabama LB John Robinson: High-Intensity Sophomore with Elite Tackling and Fierce Competitive Fire
John Robinson, a 5'11", 205-lb sophomore linebacker for the South Alabama Jaguars, stands out as a high-intensity, fearless tackler whose compact frame and explosive first step make him a disruptive force in the middle of the defense. Though he began his career at Alabama A&M (2025 stats: 23 games, 30 tackles), his transition to South Alabama after their 2024 Salute to Veterans Bowl championship run signals a player eager to elevate his impact at a higher level. Robinson’s differentiator isn’t just his 30 career tackles—it’s his relentless pursuit, zero tolerance for missed assignments, and a personality that radiates grit and accountability. He’s injury-free, plays with elite intensity, and thrives in run-heavy schemes. If you need a linebacker who brings fire, consistency, and a 'never-back-down' mentality, Robinson is a perfect fit for any team seeking defensive toughness and leadership.
