the veteran Redbird guard who brings scoring punch and poise
Tyler Brown’s Illinois State profile is that of a proven, physical 6-foot-4 guard with real scoring instincts and big-game confidence; in his senior season of 2012–13, he led the Redbirds at 18.1 points per game and ranked third in the Missouri Valley Conference, including a 27-point road win at No. 16 Creighton. He also brought playmaking and toughness, earning MVC Player of the Week honors and showing the kind of steady, competitive edge coaches love. If you value shot creation, experience, and a guard who can swing a game, he fits.
