veteran Towson guard with poise, experience, and a pass-first edge
In the 2009-10 season, Vernon Carr gave Towson a steady backcourt presence as a senior guard, offering experience, floor leadership, and point-guard savvy more than box-score flash. His earlier Towson seasons showed limited scoring efficiency, but he was trusted enough to start and handle the offense, which signals coaches valued his decision-making and composure. If a team needs a low-ego connector who can organize possessions, stabilize tempo, and bring veteran grit, Carr fits that mold.
