Destiny Perkins brings shot-making and guard toughness to IU Indianapolis
Perkins profiles as a tough, experienced guard who can score in bunches and create offense when the game tightens, highlighted by a 28-point outing with six threes in 2022 and a track record of being productive as a high-usage perimeter piece. Her earlier college bio lists her at 5-foot-6 with point-guard experience, suggesting quickness, handle, and pace control as key fit traits for a team needing backcourt steadiness and shot creation. The main reason to care: she looks like a guard who can bend a defense, not just fill a box score.
