Steady, high-volume linebacker presence for Morehead State
In the 2024 season, Preston Toner was a reliable every-game defender for Morehead State, appearing in all 11 games and totaling 67 tackles, including 26 solo stops, 3.5 tackles for loss, and 0.5 sacks.[5] That production suggests a player who finds the football, finishes plays, and brings consistent run support more than splashy headline stats.[5] For a team looking for a durable, assignment-sound linebacker with proven weekly availability and a physical tackling profile, Toner looks like a smart fit.[5][2]
