Cole Luke brings veteran CB experience and instincts to Notre Dame
Cole Luke is a **senior Notre Dame cornerback** whose value comes from experience, instincts, and reliable coverage rather than flash. He entered the season with **26 career starts** — the most on the Irish roster — and had already started all 13 games at corner, while also ranking **ninth on the team with 41 tackles**. Recruiting evaluations pointed to strong **recovery speed, ball skills, and reactive quickness**, and reports highlighted him as a leader on a down defensive unit. He fits best as a steady, technique-driven defender who can stabilize a secondary.
