Aussie-sized guard with real upside, but the minutes were scarce
In the 2025-26 season, Luke Fennell gave Syracuse a 6-foot-6 backcourt option, but his freshman impact was limited: 10 games, 1.1 points per game, and a 25.0% mark from three. What makes him interesting is the package, not the box score — he arrived with international experience, a reputation for shot-making and playmaking, and enough size to handle either guard spot. The fit question is simple: if your team wants a long, developmental perimeter creator with upside, he’s worth a look; if you need an immediate high-usage scorer, he’s not that guy yet.
