Experienced Portland State OL with a local pedigree and proven high school consistency
Laverde enters Portland State as an offensive lineman with a strong developmental profile: a two-year high school starter, All-PIL recognition, and honorable mention All-State honors suggest toughness, reliability, and the ability to hold up over a full season. He matters because interior/line depth is won on steadiness more than flash, and his background points to a player who brings consistency, physicality, and coachability rather than headline-grabbing stats. Based on available information, he looks like a solid fit for a program that values dependable line play and long-term growth.
