The Citadel’s Tackling-First DB with Proven Production
In the 2023 season, Carson Walter was a sturdy, high-motor defensive back for The Citadel, appearing in 11 games and leading the Bulldogs with 77 tackles, including 56 solo stops, while also breaking up three passes and logging a tackle for loss[2]. He’s the kind of defender coaches love because he shows up around the ball, tackles cleanly, and brings reliability in the secondary rather than flashy splash plays[2]. If you want a DB who competes snap after snap and can help stabilize a defense with physicality and consistency, Walter fits the bill nicely[2][5].
