speedy ASU linebacker with proven playmaking flashes
Carlos Mendoza’s value is the kind coaches love: a fast, versatile linebacker who has flashed disruptive ability in Arizona State’s defense. In his ASU career, he was credited with 26 tackles, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble, 2 interceptions, 2 pass breakups, and a fumble recovery, and profiles as a player who can chase sideline to sideline and make plays in space. He also has a comeback story after a season-ending shoulder injury, which adds to the “grit meter” and explains why his upside has always been tied to health and consistency.
