Rutgers DT Charlie Noonan: First-year position coach with Big Ten-development upside
Charlie Noonan is a first-season Rutgers defensive tackles coach in 2025, which matters because his recent work helping develop Big Ten talent gives him credibility as a coach who can raise a room’s technical and physical ceiling.[2] The clearest differentiator is his on-field development background: Rutgers notes he helped coach Dariel Djabome to Third Team All-Big Ten honors in 2024, a useful sign that he can help build disruptive, high-output defenders rather than just manage a rotation.[2] For a team, that suggests fit for a defense that values detail, toughness, and steady player growth over flash.
