Declan Cawley gives Fordham a real bullpen weapon
Cawley’s 2026 freshman season at Fordham was quietly huge: he made 21 appearances, posted a 4.91 ERA, struck out 55 in 51.1 innings, and added two wins plus five saves, earning Atlantic 10 All-Rookie honors. He looks like a high-leverage arm with swing-and-miss stuff and the poise to handle pressure innings, with multiple scoreless outings and a few multi-inning relief stints showing real versatility. If you need a pitcher who can miss bats and take the ball often, that’s the profile.
