Porter Buursema is a power right-hander whose fastball has reportedly touched 99 mph, giving Georgia Tech a real bat-missing weapon when he’s in sync. In the 2026 season, he logged a career-high 20.2 innings with 29 strikeouts, and he flashed starter upside with a four-inning, six-strikeout outing against Cal. The tradeoff is command consistency and injury risk: he walked 19 and his season ended early, so he looks best as a high-ceiling arm if your staff can manage volatility.
