Taelor Worrell brings veteran ball-hawking presence to NAU’s secondary
Taelor Worrell is a seasoned Northern Arizona defensive back whose value shows up in the little things: reliable tackling, pass breakup ability, and special-teams toughness. In the 2009 season, he earned All-Big Sky honorable mention and posted 32 tackles with two pass breakups and a fumble recovery, and earlier NAU coverage noted a team-best 37-inch vertical at Pro Day, hinting at real explosion. He looks like a fit for teams that want a physical, assignment-sound DB who can compete downhill and bring a crafty veteran edge.
