Injury-Interrupted Outfield Talent Fighting for a Fresh Start at SJSU
Trevor Wilson, a redshirt sophomore outfielder for San José State in the 2026 season, is an intriguing upside play: listed at 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds, he arrived from UC Irvine and is being viewed as a talented former high-school prospect who missed the 2025 season with injury, so the real question is health and availability rather than raw ability. He’s the kind of player coaches like because there’s still a ceiling to unlock—if he’s back to full speed, he could be a useful depth piece with starter potential and a higher-than-usual payoff for a roster that values patience and upside.
