Durable Presbyterian RHP with swing-and-miss flashes but command work to do
In the 2025 season, Presbyterian right-hander Kyle Mueller made nine starts, posted a 2-4 record with a 9.70 ERA over 34.1 innings, and struck out 27 while ranking among the team’s top five in strikeouts[1][2]. The good news: he’s a big-bodied starter at 6'4", 215 who has shown bat-missing upside, including a career-high eight strikeouts against Le Moyne, but the not-so-great news is that contact came too easily and he allowed 54 hits and 14 walks in limited innings[1][2]. He looks like a buy for a staff that wants mound toughness and upside, but he’s still more “work in progress” than finished product[1][2].
