Air Force’s big-play linebacker who showed up in clutch moments
In the 2019 season, Grant Donaldson was a productive outside linebacker for Air Force, posting 35 total tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss, and 2.0 sacks in 13 games, then capping it with a Cheez-It Bowl Defensive Player of the Game performance after a sack and forced fumble against Washington State. He fits the profile of a disruptive, physical defender who can create negative plays and deliver in high-leverage spots; that said, the available reliable stats are from his Air Force career arc rather than a current 2026 stat line, so this is more a “watch the motor and impact” evaluation than a fresh-season snapshot.
