Luke Romine brings lefty power, patience, and big-moment juice for Ole Miss
In the 2026 season, Luke Romine has flashed an advanced on-base profile for a freshman, hitting .200 with a .385 OBP in 26 plate appearances while also showing enough bat speed to homer twice in Appalachian League play; Ole Miss also leaned on him in a 14-inning NCAA Regional win, a nice little sign that the staff trusts him in pressure spots. His calling card is a physical 6-foot-1, 220-pound left-handed bat with 1B/LHP versatility, plus a calm, clutch vibe that fits the Rebels’ grinder identity. If your team wants a young, power-capable lefty with upside and edge, he’s worth a long look.
