Mississippi Valley State’s Jaquez Pennimon brings veteran DB length, speed, and physicality
Pennimon, a 6-foot-1, 180-pound graduate senior from Macon, Georgia, profiles as an experienced defensive back with legit athletic traits—he’s been listed with a 4.49 40-yard dash, a 36-inch vertical, and strong strength numbers, which hints at upside in press coverage and run support. His current-game stats are light in the available reporting, so the draw here is the toolset, experience, and transfer pedigree more than the box score. In short: he looks like a tough, versatile DB who can fit a defense that values range and competitiveness.
