Experienced NCCU Guard with Low-Usage Efficiency and Depth Value
In the 2025-26 season, Joshua Dawkins has been a deep-rotation guard for North Carolina Central, posting 0.2 points, 0.1 rebounds and 0.2 assists per game while shooting 14.3% from the field, so the box score impact is minimal but the role still matters[2]. The appeal is profile-based: a Miami-born guard with college experience who can provide backcourt depth, practice toughness and familiarity with the program’s system[1][3]. He looks more like a situational fit than a featured piece right now, best for a team needing steadiness, guard insurance and low-ego depth rather than instant offense[1][2].
