SMU’s mobile rim-protecting center with polished efficiency
Yanick Moreira was a reliable two-way center for SMU, especially in the 2014-15 season when he started all 34 games and averaged 11.1 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks while shooting 55.0% from the field. His calling card is efficiency at the rim, physical interior defense, and steady rebounding; the stat line does not fully capture his value as a low-drama, high-activity big who could anchor the paint. If your team needs a proven college post presence who finishes cleanly and protects the basket, Moreira fits the profile well.
