In the 2025 season, Sebastian Regis started all 12 games for Stony Brook, finished with 33 tackles, 10.0 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and 3.0 quarterback hurries, while also earning preseason All-CAA honors and a captaincy nod for 2026.[11][14] The 6-foot-1, 260-pound junior has already shown he can create disruptive, high-effort plays—he was a Freshman All-American in 2024 and has a knack for showing up in big moments, which makes him more than a stat line and a solid fit for a defense that wants a dependable, physical anchor with leadership juice.[6][11]
