Davis Burl brings blue-collar depth and special-teams value to Colorado State’s linebacker room
Burl is best viewed as a reliable depth piece with proven special-teams utility: Colorado State’s roster notes show he logged tackles in a road game at San Jose State, with two coming on special teams, while stat trackers list him with modest counting stats but no splash-production yet. At 247Sports, he’s identified as an Aurora, Colorado, native who committed to CSU, and that local-rooted, team-first profile suggests a steady, assignment-sound fit rather than a headline-grabbing playmaker. If you need toughness, experience, and effort over flash, he’s the kind of linebacker who can help stabilize a unit.[4][1][2]
