Ballhawk Corner with a Past Injury Trail and Big Play History
Richard Kiel’s CMU profile shows a defender with genuine ball skills and toughness: in the 2003 season, he recorded 45 tackles and 2 interceptions, including a two-pick game against UCF, while earlier injury notes show he battled ankle and knee issues before returning to start at corner. His differentiator is clear—when healthy, he plays with a nose for the football and enough resilience to work back into the lineup. If your team needs a competitive corner who can make plays, he fits; if you need a clean injury-free track record, that’s the caution flag.
