veteran Evansville righty with a grinder’s edge
In the 2026 season, Drue Young has worked as a senior right-handed pitcher for Evansville, logging multiple starts and relief outings, with the Aces leaning on his experience in key spots. His 2026 line shows inconsistency—he entered mid-March with a 0-2 record and a 15.19 ERA, and Evansville’s stats page lists him with an 18.69 ERA over 8.2 innings—but the appeal is the pedigree: he’s a battle-tested arm, was honored on Senior Day, and has shown he can be used in different roles. If you want toughness and flexibility more than flash, he’s your guy.
