Kim Benton brings steady guard play and quiet playmaking to UMass
Kim Benton profiles as a dependable **pass-first guard** for Massachusetts, with recent stat lines showing **4.0 points, 2.8 assists, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per game**—the kind of two-way production coaches value when they need structure and ball security.[2] UMass game notes also show she can contribute in a variety of ways, including a **10-point, 5-assist** outing against Dayton, which points to a player who can run an offense, defend, and stay composed in rotation minutes.[5] If you want a guard who adds balance, poise, and low-drama utility rather than flashy volume scoring, she fits the brief.[2][5]
