veteran Kansas City guard with a proven floor-general profile
Katie Wiberg brings veteran backcourt steadiness to Kansas City, with a history of steady minutes, ball-handling, and playmaking from her earlier college seasons; her value is less about flash and more about dependable guard instincts, composure, and fit. The latest readily available public stat page for Kansas City women’s basketball does not clearly surface her individual 2025-26 production, so the strongest read is role-based: she looks like the kind of guard who helps organize an offense, keeps possessions clean, and adds experience to a roster that has struggled overall as a team.
