Wichita State’s hard-to-ignore guard prospect with all-around prep production
Bret Michael arrived at Wichita State after a high-school résumé built on production and versatility: at Sunrise Christian Academy, he averaged 24 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals, and his career highs included 38 points, 14 assists and 11 steals. He looks like a multi-tool guard who can score, create, and disrupt — the kind of player who helps a team in ways that don’t always show up in one box score. The fit question is simple: if you want a competitive, team-first guard with playmaking juice and defensive bite, he’s worth a serious look.
