UMass CB Transfer Heating Up with Versatility and Ball Skills
TJ Magee, a 5-10 cornerback who transferred from Davidson to UMass in Dec 2024, brings elite ball production with 6 pass breakups leading his team in 2023 and a pick in 2024, plus 70 career tackles (58 solo) and special teams spark via 234 kickoff return yards. His compact frame fuels feisty, high-motor play—ideal for slot duties or returns—evident in spring ball hype (UMass media 4/2/26). No injury flags; differentiator is multi-phase intensity making him a gritty fit for teams needing depth and special teams pop. Watch for 2026 breakout.
