Hunter Thompson brings spacing, size, and timely scoring for Wyoming
In the most recent Wyoming roster notes, Hunter Thompson is a senior forward who averaged 2.7 points and 1.5 rebounds while shooting 37% from three on 25 made threes, which hints at a stretch-big skill set that can matter even when he is not the focal point offensively.[1] He has also shown he can pop for real production in the right matchup, including an 18-point game against Fresno State in 2023.[2] For a team, the appeal is his floor-spacing potential, veteran role-player profile, and the fact that he can give you efficient frontcourt minutes without needing the offense run through him.[1][5]
