veteran Norfolk State guard with low-usage, steady two-way profile
In the 2001-02 season, Saundra Cotton was a senior guard for Norfolk State, appearing in the Spartans’ historical record with modest box-score production but enough roster significance to be listed in program archives and season stats. The clearest takeaway: she looks like a veteran, role-based guard rather than a high-volume stat hunter—someone whose value likely came from experience, structure, and doing the small things that help a team stay organized. If you need a dependable backcourt piece with mature team fit, she profiles as the kind of player coaches trust.
