Southern Utah LB Ricky Rich brings steady production and veteran trust
Ricky Rich is a senior linebacker for Southern Utah who played in 11 games in 2024 and posted 26 total tackles, then earned Phil Steele Preseason All-UAC third-team recognition for 2026, signaling respect around the league for his role and reliability.[5] At 6'1" and 215 pounds, he profiles as a compact, physical defender who can hold up in the box and fit a defensive scheme that values consistency more than flash.[3][5] He is worth caring about because he looks like a dependable, experienced piece rather than a high-variance prospect, which can make him a good culture fit for a team needing toughness and steadiness.[5]
