Andrell Burton Jr. is a high-upside, versatile 6-foot-7 wing with scoring punch
Andrell Burton Jr. enters the 2025-26 season as a redshirt freshman for South Dakota State, bringing size, guard skills, and real scoring pedigree from Campus High School, where he averaged 23.5 points and 10.5 rebounds as a senior and earned Class 6A All-State First Team honors. His differentiator is his two-way versatility: he can score at multiple levels, rebound like a forward, and impact possessions with length. He’s a fit for teams that want an energetic, developmental wing with upside, toughness, and a ceiling that still looks very intriguing.
