Latoya Bennett is a rugged rebounding forward-center who brings toughness and reliability to NCCU
Bennett profiles as a low-mistake frontcourt presence whose value goes beyond scoring: in her North Carolina Central seasons, she consistently produced on the glass, defended with steals, and handled heavy minutes, including a 2007-08 campaign with 8.3 rebounds per game and 23 starts. She stood out as an undersized but strong post player, which suggests grit, physicality, and a willingness to battle bigger opponents. If your team needs a hard-nosed rebounder who can anchor effort and toughness, she fits; if you need a high-volume scorer, that is not her primary lane.
