a proven Islanders guard with veteran poise and two-way grit
Joycelyn Taylor is listed as a guard for Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and is a former Islanders player whose roster bio shows she was valued for all-around contributions, including rebounding, defensive activity, and efficient free-throw touch in the 2007-08 season. Her profile suggests a player who brings toughness, experience, and a team-first edge rather than flashy volume scoring, which can matter as much as any stat line. If you need backcourt steadiness, physicality, and a low-drama competitor, she fits the bill.
