Belmont’s Matthew Dotson brings efficient frontcourt scoring and steady all-around production
Matthew Dotson is a **6-8 forward** who gives Belmont a reliable inside-out presence: in ESPN’s season line he is producing **8.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists** while shooting **43.1%** from the field, and Proballers notes he can also impact games defensively with blocks and multi-category contributions.[3][1] What makes him useful beyond the box score is his versatility for a forward-sized frame—he can score, pass, and protect the rim in short bursts, which fits a team that wants a physical, low-drama connector rather than a high-usage star.[2][1]
