Danish Forward with Elite Putback Intensity for Arizona State
Jonathan Gilling, a 6'7" Danish forward for the Arizona State Sun Devils, stands out not just for his 7.6 PPG and 3.6 REB in the 2023-24 season, but for his relentless putback intensity and clutch scoring—like his game-sealing putback in the 2015 USC victory. His differentiator is a rare blend of international shooting pedigree (15.2 PPG in Denmark) and physical grit, with a 3-1 career record vs. Arizona showing his competitive fire. No major injury history; he plays with high intensity and a calm, focused personality. If you need a forward who thrives in tight moments and adds scoring depth with defensive versatility, Gilling is a strong fit. He brings experience, reliability, and a quiet confidence that elevates team morale.
