PSU Guard's Career-High Night in 2003 Classic Fades to Cheer Stardom
Michelle Thueson shone as a senior guard for Portland State Vikings in the 2003 season, delivering a career-high 12 assists in a tough loss to Montana State amid a Viking rally that fell short; her playmaking flair and poise under pressure marked her as a differentiator. Post-basketball, she transitioned seamlessly to Boise State cheerleading (2023-24), showcasing leadership, athleticism, and team spirit—ideal for squads seeking versatile, high-energy guards with proven intensity and no injury red flags. A hidden gem for WNBA scouts eyeing multi-sport talents.
