Jonathan Jones brings veteran DB instincts and proven ball production to MVSU
Jonathan Jones has long been a playmaking defensive back, and in the 2019 season at Mississippi Valley State he posted 54 tackles, 8 pass breakups, 3 interceptions, and a forced fumble while earning second-team All-SWAC honors[1]. That kind of résumé screams reliability: physical in run support, active in coverage, and experienced enough to flip momentum with takeaways. If you need a DB who competes with edge and has shown he can make disruptive plays consistently, Jones is worth a serious look[1].
