Jacob Washington brings veteran safety instincts and proven run support to Northwestern State
In the 2022 season, Northwestern State safety Jacob Washington showed he can flash as a physical, assignment-sound defender, finishing with seven tackles and a tackle for loss against Lamar, a career-high nine tackles and a pass breakup at Southern Miss, and five tackles at No. 2 Montana, which earned team Defensive Player of the Week honors. He looks like the kind of defensive back coaches trust for toughness, consistency, and effort more than splashy hype, and his NFL bloodline adds a little extra juice. If your team wants a steady, experienced safety who can tackle and compete, he’s worth a serious look.
