Low-Stat, High-Impact Depth Linebacker for Alabama State
Marcus Owens profiles as a rotational linebacker who has already shown he can contribute in limited snaps: in 2014, he played in seven games for Alabama State and finished with five tackles, one sack, and one tackle for loss, including two stops in the Turkey Day Classic win over Stillman.[1] The stat line is modest, but the value is in his ability to flash behind the front seven and make impact plays when called on.[1] If you need a depth piece with game experience and short-burst disruption, he’s the kind of fit worth tracking.
