Kurt Rogers is Charleston’s clutch graduate arm with late-inning bite
In the 2026 season, graduate RHP Kurt Rogers emerged as a high-leverage weapon for Charleston, earning CAA Co-Pitcher of the Week after a career-best 6.0 shutout innings at Elon, where he allowed just two hits and no earned runs while retiring 16 of the first 17 batters he faced[10]. He also notched a win over No. 6 Coastal Carolina with 3.0 strong relief innings and has shown he can both start and close, giving him real versatility for a staff that needs strike-throwing, poise, and big-game nerve[1][8].
