Niko Vangarelli brings Princeton a bruising, run-first QB option
In the 2022 season, Princeton used Niko Vangarelli as a red-zone and short-yardage weapon, and the early scouting notes still define him: big frame, natural runner, and a receiver-friendly athlete who can do damage beyond straight dropbacks. Princeton coach Bob Surace said he has “great size and natural running ability,” and that his passing still needed development, which makes him more of a physical change-up than a pure pocket passer. If your team wants a QB who can stress defenses with power and toughness, he’s intriguing; if you need a polished distributor, he’s still a work in progress.
