Joshua Young brings a long, rangy edge presence to Savannah State
Joshua Young is listed by Savannah State and ESPN as a defensive end for the Tigers, but publicly available 2026 game-by-game stats are limited, so the clearest read is profile-based: a 6-foot-5, 225-pound freshman with size that can give tackles problems and room to add strength. His background suggests a local Savannah product with multi-school recruiting interest, which usually points to some upside and athletic traits worth betting on. If a team wants a developmental DE with length and growth potential, Young is a plausible fit; if it needs an instant polished pass-rush finished product, the tape-and-production evidence is not yet there.
