Former Iowa center known for size, grit, and selfless role work
Lindsay Geoffroy brought rare size to Iowa at 6-5 and spent her Hawkeye career doing the little things that don’t always jump off a box score: screening, rebounding, and absorbing physical minutes inside. In the 2003-04 season, she appeared in 25 games and was eventually granted a medical hardship, ending her playing career and shifting her into a student assistant role—strong evidence of team-first buy-in and resilience. She’s not a stat-stuffer, but she is the kind of rugged, coachable big who can stabilize a roster and bring blue-collar presence.
