Tenacious Rebounder and Defensive Anchor for UMES
Shanyce Stewart, a forward for the Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks, stands out as a relentless rebounder and interior defender whose physicality and motor elevate her beyond the stat sheet. During her career, she posted a career‑high 20 rebounds in a single game and consistently grabbed at least seven boards in early stretches of the season, underscoring her dominance on the glass. Reliable game recaps and roster notes highlight her intensity, ability to impact the game without needing high scoring, and her knack for generating steals and controlling tempo. For a team seeking a gritty, team‑first frontcourt presence who thrives in the paint and embraces contact, Stewart offers a strong fit.
