Delaware State Guard with Untapped Playmaking Potential from a Bygone Era
Charles Burley, a guard for the Delaware State Hornets, posted modest 2014-15 stats of 1.6 PPG, 1.9 RPG, and a team-high 2.5 APG on 28.0% FG in limited minutes, showcasing his primary strength as a passer and facilitator rather than a scorer. Highlight reels from 2013-14 and 2014-15 reveal flashy handles and court vision that stood out in MEAC play, marking him as a differentiator for a low-major program needing ball-handlers. Undrafted in 2015, he's no longer active collegiately as of 2026—intriguing for G-League or overseas teams seeking gritty, high-IQ guards on a budget, but not a D1 fit without major development.
