ETSU’s Khamran Laborn: a versatile spark plug with real after-the-catch juice
In the 2024 season, Khamran Laborn was a multi-use weapon for ETSU, handling snaps as a rusher, receiver, and kick returner while averaging 7.2 yards per carry, scoring 3 rushing touchdowns, and posting 309 kick-return yards on 16 returns. His biggest differentiator is versatility: he can stress defenses in space, flip field position, and create explosive plays, including a 117-yard, 2-touchdown breakout at The Citadel that earned SoCon Offensive Player of the Week honors. At 5-foot-9, 167 pounds, he profiles as a jittery, high-motor fit for teams that want speed, toughness, and manufactured touches over pure size.
